Psalms 120:7

Psalms 120:7

Sometimes you offer peace and they're not ready to receive it yet. That doesn't mean you were wrong to offer it. It means the wound is deeper than one apology can reach in one moment. You plant the seed. You trust God with the harvest.

"I am committed to peace, but when I speak, they want to make war."

You did the hard thing. You walked out there without a script, without waiting for the perfect moment, and you said what was true. That took courage. And she said nothing.

Psalm 120:7 — "I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war." Sometimes you offer peace and the other person isn't ready to receive it yet. That doesn't mean you were wrong to offer it. It means the wound is deeper than one apology can reach in one moment.

Her silence isn't rejection of you — it's her still sitting in the hurt. You can't apologize someone out of pain on your timeline. She heard you. Now she needs time to decide what to do with what she heard. That's not failure. That's you planting a seed and trusting God with the harvest.

You still show up in the ways you've committed to. Not to force a response, not to try again, but because that's the rhythm of faithfulness. You remain steady. And you let God do the rest.
