Shame says "you blew it, why bother." God says "keep moving, I'm with you." The difference between being refined and being destroyed? One stays in the furnace because they know what's waiting on the other side.

"But he knows the pathway that I take; if he tested me, I would come forth like gold."

That's His voice. Not shame's. Shame doesn't say "keep moving ahead." Shame says "you already blew it, why bother."

What you just heard is the voice that told Joshua, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). Not "be perfect." Not "stop stumbling." Just *keep moving, I'm with you.*

You're not standing still. You're in motion. The fire's hot, but you're not running from it. You're letting it do its work. That's the difference between a person being refined and a person being destroyed — one stays in the furnace because they know what's on the other side.
