Reshaping What I Love Beyond Willpower Alone

Lord, You know the pull—the restless drag toward distraction when the work feels too slow or uncertain. Meet me in that moment. I'm not asking only for stronger willpower or better discipline. I'm asking You to reshape not just my habits but the hidden places where I'm still reaching for comfort I don't need, where I'm still seeking escape from the discomfort of building something real.

I'm asking You to anchor my attention in the work You've set before me. Help me stay present to building Christia, to pointing others toward You, to choosing engagement over the thousand small escapes that call to me throughout the day. When the pull comes—and I know it will—turn my attention toward what actually matters.

Give me faith in the plan I can't yet see completely. I don't have it all figured out. The path forward isn't clear in every detail. But I believe You meet us in obedience before clarity. I'm taking the next right step, and then the next one after that, trusting that each step forward will rewire what I love. Let my desires shift as I choose presence again and again. Let the work itself become what I'm drawn toward, not what I'm running from.

Reshape my heart, not just my behavior. Change what I want at the deepest level. I'm asking You to meet me in the moments of restlessness, in the spaces where distraction whispers its false comfort. Replace that pull with a stronger pull toward the purpose You've given me, toward the people I'm called to serve, toward You.
